TOOTSIE
LOOFAH SOAPS
(GLYCERINE)
Tickle
your tootsies with this amazing exfoliating scrubber. Jochen is the originator
of
this clever bath scrub. He thought them up in the middle of the night in the
winter of
1990, and when I awoke, he was already in the shop making the first one! They
last for
months! By the way, a loofah(luffa, luffah) is a vegetable gourd that grows on
a vine like
a big zucchini in warm regions of the world like Greece and parts of China. They
need
120 days of growing season, so we don't see too many here in Manitoba! They are
dried
in the sun, the skin is peeled, and what is left is the skeletal looking sponge
we know as a loofah. |
